CAUSATUM, ongoing since 2024
Graphite pen on rug
5ft x 6ft
3 months of Naissance’s progess in the studio
Causatum <something that is caused> captured the expressive movement of the lines. I’m working on scaling up the work and size of the shapes. I’m using the back of a rug as a canva. I plastered and gesso’d the surface then applied a layer of white acrylic paint. I’m drawing the lines with a pencil.
The cause : I <3 Nature
The effect : Sketchbooks, napkins, sheets of paper, rugs filled with thousand of little lines in movements
